April, 1986	Framing a qualification of pension actuaries was suggested by Examining body about the placement of the pension actuarial matters in the corporate pension plans which was set up by the Pension Fund Association.
July, 1987	That qualification of pension actuaries should be actively examined was proposed by Examining body about the corporate pension plans which was set up by the ministry of health and welfare.
August, 1987	During the Pension actuaries social gathering hosted by National Pension Fund Association, establishment of a pension guideline which states the code of ethics and administrative regulations for the actuarial standard of practice was proposed.
May, 1988	The certified pension actuary system was legislated (the Employees' Pension Insurance Law was amended) and it was prescribed that financial suitableness and actuarial reports should be confirmed by certified pension actuaries.
September, 1988	The certified pension actuary system was introduced and 102 pension actuaries were duly authorized. Organizer meeting of Certified Pension Actuaries (Masaya Yamamoto acted as representative of it) was formed and preparation for establishing The Japanese Society of Certified pension Actuaries was started on.
April, 1989	The Japanese Society of Certified Pension Actuaries was established.
June, 1994	A commemorative lecture of the 5th anniversary of the establishment "Welfare vision in the 21st century and the policy of public welfare administration" was held.
October, 1994	A commemorative symposium of the 5th anniversary of the establishment about corporate pension "Corporate pension system and pension actuaries in the 21st century" was held.
October, 1996	A committee on incorporation was set up and examinations heading fro the establishment of a corporation was started on.
April, 1997	Designated pension actuary system was implemented.
April, 1998	The general meeting of the Japanese Society of Certified Pension Actuaries was held for incorporation.
May, 1998	The establishment of the corporation, the Japanese Society of Certified Pension Actuaries, was permitted.
September, 1999	JSCPA joined International Actuarial Association (IAA) as a full member
April, 2002	Pension mathematics class was established at graduate schools.
March, 2003	JSCPA started qualifying examination
August, 2005	Corporate pension research award was launched.
October, 2009	JSCPA held PBSS Tokyo Conference, 20th commemorative ceremony and Pension Conference as 20th commemorative projects.
April, 2013	JSCPA was reorganized as a public interest incorporated association.
